Insurance Broker Awards 2017 have named their winners!


On the evening of Thursday, 2 March a.c., for the sixth consecutive year, distinctions were given for the brokerage companies and the specialists on the intermediary market, which were distinguished by their outstanding results. The Ceremony of the Insurance Broker Awards, held this year under the sign of the Land of the Sun Rise, brought together in Japanese traditional music concerts and echoes of the Japanese art demonstrations, professionals from the profile market at the Sheraton Hotel in Bucharest.

Thus, within the XPRIMM Awards for Excellence Trophies, they were handed out to companies and professionals who, in 2016, have been remarkable in the market. The winners were:

This year, the Insurance Broker Awards have proposed to the specialists in the field and another competition: in parallel with the award of the insurance intermediaries’ performance, SUSHI BROKER – TRAINING CLASS & CONTEST – a sushi cooking contest, which provoked the professionals from insurance and brokerage to test their cooking skills by preparing one of the best-known Japanese specialties under the guidance of a Japanese chef: Sushi Chef Benihana.

Special artistic moments punctuated the entire award ceremony throughout the evening. Thus, the Insurance Broker Awards 2017 were officially opened at the spectacular pace of Taiko drums. Initially used in temples, then to frighten war enemies and even pots to keep the rhythm of the pots, the Taiko drums gradually began to create a pleasant atmosphere, using these instruments to become a musical art.

Also, traditional Japanese dances have come to life on the stage of the Insurance Broker Awards, at the artistic moment of Fan Dance, and the traditional Japanese kendo-art representation that was originally developed and practiced by bushi, or samurai, which means the “sword path” – conquered the spectators’ attention in the second part of the evening.

Last but not least, the participants in the gala were awaiting a series of special workshops dedicated to Japanese culture, such as the Yukata workshop, where both ladies and gentlemen dressed for the evening in traditional portraits The Shodo workshop, where their names were written in Japanese characters, the Japanese hairdresser workshop, where ladies could try a Japanese hairstyle with origami hair decorations, as well as the Kendo workshop, in which various pieces of the traditional equipment of this sport.

The Insurance Brokers’ Awards 2017 took place with the special support of NTT Data, supported by OMNIASIG VIG as Principal Partner, as well as by Gothaer Asigurari Reasigurari, GENERALI Romania, EUROINS Romania, CertAsig and GRAWE Romania as Partners .
